Free pilot — live now

Reconcile a study
in an afternoon.

SpeciCheck is the SpeciGen reconciliation engine, unbundled and free. Drop your EDC extract, central-lab file, and PK-lab file. SpeciCheck maps the columns, joins on subject / visit / specimen / date, and hands back a reconciled master table plus every anomaly worth a look.

How it works

Three steps. No integration. No IT ticket.

01

Upload up to 3 files

EDC extract, site collection log, central-lab file, PK-lab file. CSV, TXT, or XLSX. Sign in with your work email — nothing to install.

02

Confirm the mapping

SpeciCheck auto-detects subject, visit, specimen type, collection date, and sample ID. Split combined columns inline or merge multiple columns into a canonical field.

03

Get reconciled rows plus anomalies

One master table joined on the composite key. Every mismatch, orphan sample, date drift, and duplicate flagged by severity. Export to XLSX or PDF.

What it catches

16 rules, honed on real study data.

The same reconciliation logic that runs continuously inside SpeciGen — the parent platform pharma bioanalytical teams use across full studies.

Missing collections

EDC expected but never at the lab. The most common source of database-lock churn.

Orphan lab rows

Lab received a sample the EDC never mentioned. Points at requisition or subject-ID errors.

Date drift

Collection dates that don’t agree across sources, tiered fallback when lab date is missing.

Duplicates

Duplicate specimen IDs, duplicate subject / visit rows, silent double-processing.

Wrong specimen at visit

A serum tube where the protocol asked for plasma. Missed until data lock, if ever.

Late lab receipt & more

Shipment-to-receipt gaps, impossible dates, visit-label case drift, and the rest of the 16.

About your data

Deterministic engine.
No LLMs on your data.

SpeciCheck’s reconciliation engine is rule-based. No customer data is sent to any LLM or third-party inference API. Every anomaly flagged has a rule name and an audit trail you can trace.

  • Files stay in the SpeciCheck AWS environment (us-east-2), encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • Uploaded files and reconciliation results are automatically deleted 30 days after your pilot ends.
  • Work email required at signup — freemail (gmail, yahoo) and disposable domains are blocked.
  • Desktop only. The mapping and results views need horizontal screen room to work well.

When you need more than a snapshot

SpeciCheck is one upload.
SpeciGen is the whole study.

SpeciCheck shows you what the reconciliation engine does with one data cut. SpeciGen wraps that same engine in a full biospecimen lifecycle — barcode scanning at the collection bench, shipment tracking, continuous multi-vendor reconciliation, per-sample audit trail, discrepancy workflow with e-signatures, eTMF reports, and submission-ready closeout packages. 21 CFR Part 11 attested, HIPAA-aligned.
